Attempt 3

So, I'm serious this time. I will in fact edit this blog on a regular basis. Don't take this too seriously because my previous two attempts were simply empty, but this time it's different. I hope.

Anyway the reason this attempt may be better than the last two is that I just spent about an hour redesigning my blog. I have a new image, new fonts, new colors. It's funny how when I decided to start a blog the reason was primarily based on my need to keep a record of my thoughts, to have someplace where my daily musings could be dumped.

Of course, this is not what happened.

Instead I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of font/background/arrangement combinations available to be on blogspot. I mean, it was a little ridiculous. I spent days working on it to get it just right and my blog ended up looking like a high school kid's first website from 1998. It was simply horrendous. Since then, whenever I think to write in my blog, I just end up changing all the colors and fonts. Occasionally I change the arrangement.

I did this with my cellphone too. I remember being so excited when I got my first cellphone. Sure, I was excited to be able to call my friends without closing the Internet connection in my house, but I was more excited about the prospect of having constant access to the class game "Snake." When that wonderful piece of technology finally landed in my lap, I changed the color scheme nearly every day for a week. It was like an unreasonably expensive mood ring. On top of that, I treated my voicemail message as a voiceover for a major disney film and proceeded to record enough audio for two or three pixar feautres over the course of three days.

By the end, I got the perfect "Hello, you have reached Deepa Mokshagundam. I can't come to the phone right now but please leave me a message."

Hopefully this blog is that too.
