This is from the Blue Grotto in the island of Capri off the coast of Naples, Italy. The water there is so amazingly blue, and the light created in this cave is entirely natural. We were only in the cave for about 5 min, but it was really amazing. In order to get into the cave, about 4 people get into a small boat and lie down flat in the bottom. The boatman is the only one standing and basically pushes the boat down into the little opening you see here.

The view from higher up on the island.

A young man playing the accordion just outside the Vatican museums. The line was so long, we got some crepes while we were waiting.

The Spanish Steps at sunset. There were school groups from Spain and France who had come to visit and I think a group from Germany as well. They each took turns singing their soccer "fight songs" to eachother at the foot of the steps. There was also some sort of rugby convention and many Scottish men where there in kilts and drinking beers. They were delightful.
